Heavy-duty leveling feet with articulating joints and non-slip rubber pads absorb these lateral loads, ensuring the machine remains firmly planted on the facility floor.   • Thread Design: Traditional exposed threads are a major hazard in food packaging because they trap moisture and food particles, leading to mold and bacteria. Hygienic leveling feet feature fully enclosed threads protected by silicone seals (O-rings) at both ends of the adjusting sleeve.
  • Base Articulation: Packaging plant floors are rarely perfectly flat. Leveling feet with a ball joint design allow the spindle to articulate up to 15 degrees, ensuring full surface contact between the footpad and the sloped floor.
  • Vulcanized Rubber Pads: The rubber base pad must be chemically bonded (vulcanized) to the stainless steel foot to prevent water from seeping underneath. The rubber compound must also be FDA-compliant and resistant to oils, greases, and cleaning agents.
